Centuary celebration of “Bang-e-Dara” - All Pakistan Competitions of Kalam-e-Iqbal Singing, Caligraphy, Painting and Essay Writings organized by Iqbal Academy Pakistan

In connection with the 86th death anniversary of Allama Iqbal and 100 years of celebrations of his poetic masterpiece “Bang-e-Dara” (also known as “The Call of Marching Bell”, competitions were organized Iqbal Academy Pakistan under the title "All Pakistan Competitions" of Kalam-i-Iqbal (singing), painting, calligraphy and essay writings conducted among the students of educational institutions at the school, college and university level.
The chief guest of the ceremony was grandson of Iqbal, Mr. Waleed Iqbal, while the judges were Mr. Irfan Qureshi, Secretary General Calligraphy Association of Pakistan, Professor Dr. Zaib-un-Nisa Saroya (Dean of Student Affairs, Government Post Graduate College for Women, Cooper Road, Lahore, Mian Sajid Ali (Chairman Iqbal Stamp Society), Prof. Sana Arsalan, (Department of Art, Education University, Lahore), Dr. Hasan Raza Iqbali, (Department of Urdu, Government Graduate College, Okara), Syed Safdar Kazmi (Professor Waris Shah College, Jandiala Shersheikhopura), Ms. Anam Shahzadi And Mr. Hasnain Mazhari.
