Iqbal Academy Pakistan was established in 1951. Over the past 7 decades, the Academy has published more than 7 hundred books in national and foreign languages. The research journal of the academy has also been published regularly since 1960. These books, magazines and selected books of other institutions are sold through the sales point of Iqbal Academy. The sales point of the academy is located at McLeod Road, Allama Iqbal's residence.

A sales point has been set up at Aiwan-e-Iqbal Complex, Lahore to increase the sales of Iqbal's writings and other products of the academy. It was inaugurated on 6 February 2021 by the Federal Minister for Education, Technical Training and National Heritage and Culture, Mr. Shafqat Mahmood. The Federal Minister appreciated the efforts of Director Iqbal Academy Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen for the promotion of Iqbaliyat. He said that the establishment of a cell point in Aiwan-e-Iqbal would not only increase the sales of the academy but also the people coming to Aiwan-e-Iqbal would be able to benefit from the message of Allama Iqbal. Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen thanked the Federal Minister Mr. Shafqat Mahmood for patronizing the academy.

Vice President Iqbal Academy Pakistan Dr Shehzad Qaiser, Chairman PAL Prof. Muhammad Yousuf Kushk, DG IRI Dr Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Dr Shahid Iqbal Kamran, Dr Humaira Shahbaz, Joint Secretary and Finance Advisor Raja Muhammad Akhtar Iqbal and Academy staff also were also present on the occasion.
