A seminar on "Iqbal's Philosophy of Self and Today's Youth" was organized jointly by Unique Group of Institutions and Aiwan-e-Iqbal Complex here on Wednesday. Provincial Minister for Prisons Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan was the chief guest. Director Iqbal Academy Pakistan Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen and Chairman Unique Group of Institutions Prof. Abdul Manan Khurram were the guests of honor. Addressing the seminar, Provincial Minister Mr. Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan said that following the philosophy of Iqbal, Prime Minister Imran Khan is working hard to bring the country out of darkness. He said that the time is not far when Pakistan will be in the list of developed countries. He said that Pakistan's youth talents are not inferior to any other country in the world and we should follow Iqbal's philosophy of self. Speaking on the occasion, Director Iqbal Academy Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen said that Iqbal's philosophy of self means to hold oneself accountable. Declining nations do not take pride but hold themselves accountable. She said that the nations that question others become weaker. The self is not a material being. The self of those who love the Holy Prophet can never be weak. She further said that in the self, there is awareness of the young generation and if we succeed in adapting the young generation today according to the philosophy of Allama Iqbal, the future of Pakistan will be bright. Dr. Baseera Ambreen said that Iqbal was in fact a poet of the young generation and the youth should make better decisions for their future keeping in view the message of Iqbal. Chairman Unique Group of Institutions Prof. Abdul Manan Khurram said that The process of positive training can be completed and the role of educational institutions is important in this regard. He said that Unique Group, keeping in view the social training aspects of the students, gives them opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities and today's event is also a link in the same chain. Young Iqbal Scholar Zaid Hussain also addressed the seminar while Administrator Aiwan-e-Iqbal Anjum Waheed, Vice Chairman Unique Group Afif Ashraf Siddiqui, Rector Unique Group Prof. Amjad Ali Khan, Director Unique Group Prof. Wasim Anwar Chaudhry, Principal Research and Development Department Unique Group Professor Farah Sonam, Manager Media and Communications Zunair Chaudhry, Riaz-ul-Haq and Haroon Akram Gill were also present along with a large number of teachers and students.
