BOOKS To carry out the aims and objectives of the Iqbal Academy Ordinance, the Academy has so far published more than 270 books on different aspects of Allama Iqbal's thought and translation of his works in following languages. These books are used in higher studies and research on Iqbal. The assignments were given to scholars of repute both in the country and outside the country.
RESEARCH JOURNAL IQBAL REVIEW (ENGLISH/URDU) The Iqbal Review, a quarterly journal, is published alternately in Urdu and English. Since it's inception in April 1960, it has been devoted to the work of the master poet and philosopher and to the fields in which he was interested: Islam and Comparative religion, philosophy, sufism, history, poetry and art. Contributors have included eminent scholars of philosophy, sufism, religion and poetry Muslim theologians, historians and biographers, they have traditionally been from Pakistan and India but also from Iran and increasingly of late, from Europe and America. Uptil now the Academy has the privilege to publish about150 issues of the journal in English and Urdu. IQBALIAT (PERSIAN/ARABIC/TURKISH) In the year 1985, the Academy also decided to publish issues of Iqbaliat in Persian language. Uptil now 10 issues have come out. The Academy has lately embarked upon the project of Arabic and Turkish issues of the journal. also. Two Arabic and one Turkish issues have appeared till now. IQBAL'S TEXT AND BASIC RESEARCH MATERIAL For the first time in it's history, the Academy has undertaken the publication of the basic research material and Iqbal's prose/poetic works. Following books have come out during the last five years.
