February-October
2003 – A nationwide painting competition is being organized for portraits
and topical paintings on any central theme of Allama Iqbal. 250 Entries
have been received and evaluated. Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, Prime Minister
of Pakistan will distribute prizes among the winners on his visit to Iqbal
Academy Pakistan on October 4, 2003.

2003 – The national celebrated year 2002-2003 as “Iqbal Year”. Thus, as
a part of Iqbal Year projects, organized an All Pakistan Multimedia Website
Competition on the Life Themes and Works of Allama Iqbal. This is, in
real sense, Pakistan’s largest, focused, software competition, in which
517 groups comprising of 1001 participants from all parts of the country,
belonging to all genders, creeds, linguists, cultural and professional
zones participated. The exhibition of the selected entries took place
on 20th and 21st April, 2003. On 21st
April, the president of Pakistan distributed prizes among the winners.
