I hold a heart in hand find not a beau,
A treasure I have but no robbers Lo;
I pray thee to make in my heart a place,
How much lonely I am there is no case.¹

Lonesome (adj. ) having or causing a lonely feeling, unfrequented, desolate n. (colloq.); self, as all by my lonesome. The readers may use lonesome or lonely as they like.
