Director of Iqbal Academy Pakistan, Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqui, met with the Executive Director of Al-Hamra Lahore Arts Council, Sara Rashid. Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqui congratulated Ms. Sara Rashid on assuming the post of Executive Direcor. Ms. Sara Rasheed said that we will work together with the people associated with the arts. She wants to present the thoughts of Iqbal in a perfroming art to the youth. In this regard, the coopration of Iqbal Academy Pakistan will be required.
Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqui said that Allama Iqbal believed in art for life instead of art for art's sake in literature and arts, and this is the main point that made Iqbal the greatest place in world literature. In Iqbal's speech, apart from poetry, other branches of art are also mentioned. We are ready for all kinds of cooperation to enlighten the youth with Iqbal's thought. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqui presented the publications of Iqbal Academy. It was also decided to sign a mutual cooperation agreement between the two officials.
